With a history dating back over 40 years, Haufe Akademie has established itself as a trusted partner for organisations and individuals seeking to enhance their skills, knowledge, and competencies. Haufe Akademie offers a wide range of training programs and courses designed to address the evolving needs of professionals and employers across various industries.

The extensive range of products offered by Haufe Akademie presents several challenges. These challenges include effectively directing the appropriate product to its intended target audience on the website, providing comprehensive explanations for each product that ensure understanding among different user groups and differentiation between the products, while avoiding to overwhelm the target audience with an excessive amount of information that may be difficult for them to comprehend.

Haufe Akademie chose altitude for conceptualising two of their new product websites, designing these and developing them with a scalable structure in Webflow.

As a starting point, altitude conducted a Workshop with relevant stakeholders from the Marketing, Product and Sales departments in order to narrow down target audience, main USPs and most important information for each product.

After the initial workshop, the concept phase of the project began and entailed the creation of detailed page structures. The result of the concept phase was a wireframe for each individual page that outlined the storyline, components and user flows across the website.

Our UI design for both websites was based on the existing brand guidelines of Haufe Akademie. We enhanced those guidelines with individual touches for each website in order to create a unique experience that is related to the products’ USPs and target groups.

In the end, we developed both websites in Webflow, using the Client First framework. By this, we ensured that the page is easy to adjust, scalable and has a clean code. We complemented both pages with complex animations and subtle interactions to enhance the user experience on the page.
